It is a situation almost every house in America has, and the answer is fairly simple. You may be selling your house, you may be moving into a smaller place, or you could just be fed up with all the stuff. What we all need to accomplish every once in a while, should be to de-clutter their life. How often when people move, they decide to get rid of everything they no longer need, and they even box it up, but somehow it manages to get moved with everything else.

Don’t you imagine that it must be time to take all of the things that simply get hauled from one location to another, and get rid of them. Ever ask yourself why it is so difficult to get rid of things, and why it is so hard to get sorted out? Is all of your chaos zapping the vitality away from your life? Make up your mind to have a day, and de-clutter your everyday life, and see whether it won’t make you feel like a big burden has been removed from your life. To start with, acquire some boxes and tag them storage, donations, garbage, and recycle.

Whatever that you may not use regularly, items you haven’t touched for years, anything that you have been planning on fixing for longer than you can remember, put in one of the boxes. In the event you find things that you just won’t be able to get rid of, put in a box that you have labeled memories. Place the box inside the garage, and take a look at it every now and then, until you decide that some things aren’t that important. Maybe you can take a photo of the things in the box, and keep the photos, but get rid of everything else.

As you remove the clutter, and get it out-of-the-way, clean up everywhere as you go. Convert it into a common practice to keep it neat, or the clutter will keep returning, and your house will again be a mess. Make the effort to put things away immediately after using them. By doing a little cleaning each day, you’ll notice things not piling up. Through de-cluttering a small amount each day, the mess will not have a chance to start.
